I'm extremely excited today as tomorrow is the start of my vacation. I am planning on working on a few pieces of art I've left unfinished.  Hopefully you'll be seeing some updates from me very soon

I feel like I have not had a day off to myself in a long long time. This summer has been the most eventful by far. Between a workout schedule, family affairs, helping people move, birthday parties, working with horses, bike rides, working full time and a number of other activities... I have not had the time to stop and breath. School starts up again later this month but luckily that will not be too bad as it is only one class this semester.

I'll be glad when the weather starts getting a little cooler. I'm hoping somethings will start to slow down in the fall and winter months so that I can get some projects done! Maybe I'll get my motivation back as well because right now with everything going on I feel pretty burnt out.

I think I'm due for some vacation time... yes that sounds fantastic.

What I'm about to tell you is a bit odd but here it goes. This morning before work I decided to play some Bioshock. A Co-worker let me barrow his copy for the PS3 so I was pretty excited. I forgot however how long it would take to install.  This put a pretty big damper on my game time plans.  All was not lost however, my dog decided to amuse me. While I was waiting for the game to install I was eating some breakfast probably the most boring thing ever grape nuts lol and of course my dog was there.
With my dog, no matter what I'm eating she acts like she's starving and MUST eat or else she'll die. She doesn't bark or whine at me, she just sits there quietly and drooooooooolss and I mean DROOLS.
This morning she out did herself.  I happened to look down at her staring up at me with a thick cord or drool going from her mouth the the edge of the couch, completely connecting the two in an epic saliva ladder. I just kept staring at it, not even disgusted, fascinated.... maybe even a little impressed. Along this saliva ladder were little saliva balls at this point all I could think of was World of Goo (which if you haven't played it, you should because it is awesome.)  They looked EXACTLY like the water droplet goo balls.  This image is forever seared into my memory, I filed it under my disturbing but awesome category.  I would have gotten a picture too but I wasn't sneaky enough with my phone, she does not like her picture taken. I'll have to try harder next time.

That is all.

Today I am a year older. I love when people ask how it feels to be older. Truly it does not feel any different from the day before. I only feel older when I take a look back at how much time has past. Time doesn't seem to be slowing down at all either which at times can be a little frightening. That's life though.

Tonight I will be going over to my parents to spend time with them and afterwards spending time with my boyfriend and his family.  In the mean time I'll be doing chores around the house and working on a commission piece. Minus the house work, I would say my birthday is going pretty good

SO, all these years I've known about Deviantart and haven't created my own little profile. I figured it's about time.  I'm curious to see where this will go and I am hoping to get some good feedback. Feel free to critique away! It would be much appreciated
